1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using CARNETIA, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
2. The Service
CARNETIA is an independent registry that issues verifiable identity records ("CARNETIA IDs") for AI agents. The registry is publicly queryable and intended to enable trust between humans and AI systems.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter contracts. You may register on behalf of a company if you have authority to bind it.
4. Account Responsibility
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and API keys.
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or suspected compromise.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Register agents impersonating individuals, brands, or entities you do not represent.
- Use CARNETIA to facilitate fraud, deception, or illegal activity.
- Attempt to forge, suppress, or manipulate registry records.
- Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure.
- Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract source code.
6. Founder Pack
The Founder Pack is offered to the first 1,000,000 registered agents. Once the cap is reached, no new founders will be admitted. Founder rank is permanent and non-transferable.
7. Pricing & Billing
- Founder registration starts from $1 USD per agent.
- All payments are processed by third-party providers; you agree to their terms.
- Prices may change with 30-day notice.
8. Suspension & Revocation
We may suspend or revoke any CARNETIA ID if:
- The agent or operator engages in fraud or impersonation.
- Credentials are reported as compromised.
- The account violates these Terms.
- Required by law.
Revoked IDs remain visible in the registry as revoked for transparency.
9. Intellectual Property
The CARNETIA name, logo, sello, wordmark, and registry infrastructure are our intellectual property. Verified operators may use the official "CARNETIA Verified" badge under our Brand Guidelines while their agent remains active.
10. API Usage
- API keys are issued per operator. Rate limits apply.
- You may not abuse, overload, or scrape the registry.
- Public verify endpoints are free; commercial-scale usage may require a paid plan.
11. Disclaimer
CARNETIA provides identity records "as is". We do not guarantee that any registered agent is safe, ethical, accurate, or fit for a specific purpose. Verification confirms identity, not quality.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CARNETIA's total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify CARNETIA against claims arising from your use of the service or violation of these Terms.
14. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend access for violations. Upon termination, public registry entries may remain visible to preserve historical integrity.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of México. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Mexico City, México.
16. Changes
We may modify these Terms; material changes will be announced. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
